The resolution does not come from a fourth messenger continuing the same dialectical line. It comes from a man from the farthest end of the town, arriving from the periphery, speaking briefly, and leaving. He does not engage the dialectic. He does not extend the argument. He arrives from outside the local geometry, registers the truth that the local dialectic could not register, and departs. The verse that follows reports his entry into the Garden.
The structural shape repeats again: three stages of dialectical friction plus a fourth state that does not extend the sequence but bypasses it through arrival from outside the local geometry.
The Geometric Translation: Triangle to Tetrahedron
The three registers above each describe the same structural geometry. The geometry is most simply stated in the language of dimensional topology.
Three points in space define a triangle: a flat, two-dimensional figure. The triangle has area but no volume. It is, in the strict topological sense, not a three-dimensional object. To enclose a three-dimensional volume, a fourth point is required, and the fourth point cannot lie in the plane of the prior three. It must lift out of the plane.
